Urolithin A (UA) is a natural compound produced by gut bacteria from polyphenols such as ellagitannins (ET) and ellagic acid (EA). These precursors are found in foods like pomegranates, berries, and nuts.

Although Urolithin A was discovered over 40 years ago, its impact on aging and age-related diseases has only recently been explored in depth. Studies have demonstrated multiple cellular benefits. Key areas of interest include:
